Requirements and Description

Role Summary 

As Highload Driver you will work within a team to carry out a variety of services on the interior and exterior of the aircraft.  

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • To contribute to a culture of engagement, involvement and continuous improvement within the cleaning team.
  • Dealing with all above wing collection and drop off requirements.
  • Collecting and loading products onto the aircraft within the designated time and to the required standard and satisfaction of the customer.
  • Liaise with the aircraft team to facilitate transfer of goods and equipment on and off the plane, this may require some heavy lifting.
  • Operating ground handling equipment and high lifts around the airport.
  • Restocking of products and equipment.
  • Support other teams when required with interior and exterior services.
  • Always maintain a safe working environment, especially when using equipment and PPE.

 

Key requirements 

  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to suit customer needs.
  • A full manual driving licence recognised by the UK is essential.
  • C1 Licence
  • Previous aircraft cleaning experience would be highly beneficial.
  • Valid Passport/ID and right to work in the UK.
  • Proof of Address and National Insurance Number.
  • 5 years' check-able work history.
  • Clean Disclosure/ Criminal Record Check.
  • Must be willing to undergo relevant training as required.
