Job Title: HR Business Partner

Base: London Heathrow Airport
Reports to: Senior HR Business Partner


Job Summary

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) plays an integral role within our People function, ensuring operations align with the business's vision and goals. You will work closely with Station Managers and Regional Managers to support and implement HR initiatives. With the support of the HR Manager, the HRBP is responsible for delivering the people agenda across the business. You will be responsible for delivering HR support and initiatives to our Dublin, Cork, Shannon, Belfast and Stansted sites. You will be based at London Heathrow Airport, alongside our wider HR team.

Key Responsibilities

·         Produce and monitor employee data and HR metrics, analyse trends, and identify people priorities to support Station Management decision-making.

·         Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to implement innovative and inclusive recruitment strategies, ensuring timely and effective hiring.

·         Support Station Management in retaining, engaging, and developing talent.

·         Provide advice, support, and coaching to management at all levels within the region, ensuring alignment with business expectations and policy.

·         Assist Stations in resolving employee relations issues, including investigations, grievances, and disciplinaries, ensuring a fair, unbiased process in line with policy and legislation.

·         Guide management on people practices such as restructures and succession planning, supporting the development of a strong internal talent pipeline.

·         Educate and direct employees toward appropriate self-service options for HR-related queries.

·         Champion employee engagement through structured reward and recognition initiatives.

·         Lead HR initiatives and projects across all Stations.

·         Maintain a strong understanding of UK & IRE employment law to ensure compliance and reduce legal risk, while maximising employee engagement.

·         Solid understanding and proven track record of complying with UK & IRE employment law and HR best practices.

·         Highly process-driven, with excellent multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.

·         Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging at all levels across multiple sites.

·         High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.

·         Strong IT literacy, particularly with MS Office applications – Excel proficiency is essential.

·         Willingness and ability to travel to different sites, with flexibility around working hours and locations as required.

Additional Information

·         This is a non-remote, on-site position based primarily at London Heathrow Airport. Occasional travel (with notice) will be required to Stansted Airport, where the Director for Ireland is based, as well as to our Station locations in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Shannon).

·         Flexibility in working hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends, may be necessary depending on business demands.
