All training courses must be endorsed by L&D. Deviation from approved training material is prohibited. Local trainers do not have the authority to conduct local in-house training as an alternative to scheduling employees for formal training. The Learning & Development Senior Director has the responsibility for the quality, oversight, development and implementation of all Learning & Development training programs and processes. The Learning & Development Director of L&D reports to the Senior Director of Learning & Development which has the authority, duty, and responsibility to manage the work required by the following FAA, TSA, OSHA, Transport Canada, Labour Canada, as well as our customer’s requirements: ➢ Manual Currency ➢ Content Consistency across manuals ➢ Manual Distribution ➢ Manual Availability ➢ Training Record Keeping ➢ Training of Station Personnel ➢ Station Facilities Station Managers have the authority, duty, and responsibility to manage the work required by the following FAA defined processes at the station level: ➢ Manual Currency ➢ Manual Distribution ➢ Manual Availability ➢ Training Record Keeping ➢ Training of Station Personnel ➢ Station Facilities  Note: Some policies may differ and/or be superseded by Union Agreements – Differ to your local leadership for additional information regarding the local Union Bi-laws.
