The Financial Reporting Manager is a new position added to support the Company’s continued growth and ensure compliance with Financial Reporting requirements. The candidate will report to [Controller] and will work with various leaders in Finance, Accounting and Capital Markets departments, along with others across the organization, to prepare detailed financials for internal and external reporting and compliance. A successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in financial reporting for a large multinational company including experience in consolidating financial results from multiple ERPs. Preference will be given to candidates with Workiva, NetSuite and/or Blackline experience.[Familiarity with ABL receivables financing is a plus. Expert level excel proficiency is required.
As Financial Reporting Manager, you will:
- Prepare monthly consolidated financial statements for internal and external reporting.
- Prepare the monthly and quarterly statement of cash flows.
- Prepare monthly compliance certificates and borrowing base calculations and certifications
- Assist with coordinating audit timing and fulfill requests from auditors related to airport operating permit audits and the annual audit.
- Assist in the annual goodwill/intangible asset impairment assessment
- Prepare individual account and financial statement line item variance analysis and review with management on a monthly basis
- Perform accounting research and draft technical memos on an as-needed basis
- Coordinate with third party valuation or accounting firms to complete technical accounting memos, when needed
- Ensure accounting compliance with internal/external requirements and policies
- Other duties as assigned
What are the requirements?
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related
- 6 years of multifaceted experience in Accounting
- 3 years financial reporting experience required
- Experience performing accounting research and preparing technical accounting memos
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- CPA preferred
- Understanding of Workiva, NetSuite and/or Blackline preferred
