Unifi Aviation is the largest provider of aviation services in North America, supporting a diverse portfolio of airline partners across 200+ locations and employing over 30,000 team members globally. As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a seasoned Controller – Americas to lead regional financial operations and drive accurate, timely reporting that supports strategic decision-making at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all accounting and financial reporting functions across the Americas region, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and compliance with US GAAP and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for multiple entities, with consolidated reporting to global leadership.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes in collaboration with regional business units and corporate FP&A.
  • Supervise both onshore and offshore accounting teams, fostering accountability and operational excellence across shared service functions.
  • Support M&A activity and lead financial integration of acquired entities into Unifi systems, processes, and controls.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for external auditors and oversee the audit process for the region.
  • Drive process improvements and system efficiencies to scale with Unifi’s rapid growth and operational complexity.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership to support decision-making across airport operations, vendor negotiations, and infrastructure investments.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX and internal control requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
  • CPA designation required.
  • 20+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, with at least 10 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Prior experience in a complex, multi-entity organization; experience in aviation, transportation, or high-volume services preferred.
  • Proven success managing global or offshore accounting teams.
  • Strong technical accounting background and deep understanding of financial reporting, consolidations, and operational finance.
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to partner cross-functionally across all levels of the organization.
