Requirements and Description

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 

  1. Write clear and concise reports.
  2. Inspect identification and vehicle decals.
  3. Screens vendors and contractors prior to servicing the aircraft.
  4. Safeguards loads during loading and unloading of aircraft.
  5. Guarding and sealing of aircraft
  6. Takes reports of criminal or other suspicious activities dealing with the client’s property, personnel or operations.
  7. Advises management team of any emergency or security incident for appropriate resolution.
  8. Performs any other security related assignment as needed.

Basic Qualifications 

Pre-requisites: 

  • Must be a local (in-state) resident. 
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. 
  • Must complete SIDA training and obtain a secure area ID badge for the ATL airport.
  • Must obtain a Customs Seal from the U.S. Customs and Border Protection agency.
  • Must complete and pass client specific LMS training and testing

Experience: 

  • Must be open minded and ready to work as part of a detail-oriented team. 
  • Preferred fluent in Spanish.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong work ethic. 
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.  
  • Organizational and time management skills. 
  • Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality.
  • Able to communicate information and instructions verbally and/or via radio equipment. 
  • Able to communicate effectively in a professional manner. 
  • Knowledge of security principles and practices.

Preferred Qualifications 

Experience: 

  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Preferred fluent in Spanish.

Working Conditions 

Work Schedule: 

  • Full-time work week based on the client’s flight schedule. 
  • You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays if needed.

Work Environment:  

  • Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles and the use of radio equipment.  
  • Enjoy the outdoors on a daily basis (sun, rain, sleet or snow!)  May be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions, jet and machinery noises, fumes, dirt and dust for extended periods.  

Physical Demands/Requirements:  

  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 30 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 10 to 20 pounds on raised surfaces.  
  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.  
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
