Requirements and Description

Unifi Security ID Badge team members (credentialing specialists) interact with internal/external candidates and employes, as well as airport security credentialing stakeholders at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Credentialing Specialists maintain and protect sensitive and confidential information, verify the validity and acceptability of government issued identification documents prior to fingerprint and badge appointments in accordance with various local and federal governing requirements.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review and verify all Department of Aviation and U.S. Customs and Border Protection applications, including the authenticity of identification and work authorization documents according to federal mandates.
  • Entrusted with the privacy/security of personal information presented during the credentialing application process and ensures its protection from unauthorized use.
  • Handle security badges by proficiently operating credentialing system software & applicant tracking system.
  • Perform data entry and validation; create reports along with audits.
  • Monitor and inspect, documents submitted for employee personnel and security clearance.
  • Identify training records for employees who will obtain (SIDA) Secure Identification Display Badge.
  • Interpret and adhere to federal regulations, procedures, and instructions to ensure the safety of persons and security of airport property.
  • Assess situations quickly, objectively and determine the proper course of action.
  • Prepare and maintain databases, logs, records, and reports.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all applicants, internal and external customers, employees and partners in accordance of Unifi Core Values.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in Credentialing, Shared Services, Operations, etc as needed based on qualifications and training.

 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Knowledge Of:

  • Customer Service principles
  • Technology based platforms and related database management.
    • Excel
    • HRIS Systems

 

Skill In:

  • Customer Service, and ability to communicate clearly and effectively in person, over telephone and two-way radio, and in writing.

 

Ability To:

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, employees and represent UNIFI Aviation in a professional, positive manner.
  • Ability to respond calmly and effectively in emergency and other stressful situations, assess situations quickly, objectively and determine the proper course of action.

 

Preferred Qualification

Prefer experience in customer service and aviation industry.  

Minimum Qualifications

High School Graduate or Equivalent

Pre-requisites:  

  * Must be a local (in-state) resident. 

  * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 

  * Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check. 

  * Must be at least 18 years of age. 

  * Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. 

  * Must complete SIDA training if needed to obtain airport authority identification security.
