Job Summary:
Reporting to the Region VP, the City Director will lead the station supporting aviation ground operations. The City Director will manage customer relationships and contracts, foster a culture of safety and top performance, and advance the company's footprint at the location.

Job Duties:
- Builds effective partnerships with internal departments, outside vendors, contractors, business partners, communities and other business entities and identifies new business opportunities.
- Ensures appropriate staffing at assigned locations, promotes team building initiatives and performs coaching/mentoring activities to develop and motivate team members.
- Ensures information is communicated in a clear, comprehensive manner.
- Sets, measures and manages performance of self and others and leads team members in achieving/exceeding operational and financial objectives and goals.
- Delegates responsibility and holds others accountable against operational performance criteria and assists individuals with skills development to become a high performing contributor.
- Monitors and enforces safe working conditions in accordance with regulatory requirements, Unifi policies and safety procedures, and all applicable laws.

Qualifications:
- Must have experience in airline ground handling services.
- Must have the ability to identify, evaluate and refine operational and financial results and manage to meet target performance.
- Must be able to lead team members effectively, as well as coach and develop individuals toward meeting corporate and individual goals.
- Lead innovation by teaching, consensus-building, and project execution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and be self-starting on tasks within area of expertise.
- Ability to lead and demonstrate initiative and work well in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a solid decision-maker with exceptional analytical skills.
- Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.
- Supervisory experience is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of four years in an aviation ground operations station or regional leadership position, with specialized leadership training preferred.
Physical requirements:
- Must be able to frequently push, pull, stoop, squat, kneel, bend, lift up to 70lbs and move up to 70lbs; and constantly walk, stand, handle, grasp and reach out. May have to reach above shoulder occasionally.
Working conditions:
- You will need to have flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime. We operate in a shift bid environment.
- Must be able to be alert to moving vehicles or aircraft and use radio equipment.
- Must be willing and able to travel.
