Position Summary 

The Security Compliance Auditor is primarily responsible for managing training and auditing to ensure regulatory compliance regarding security operations.

Essential Functions / Key Responsibilities 

  • Develops compelling and informative methods to track, highlight and present measures and metrics that demonstrate the effectiveness of security programs, to include the security value and analysis delivered by security programs.
  • Ensure the security-training program is adhered to and meets corporate requirements.
  • Collects and manages program data, ensures accuracy of reported information.
  • Inputs and maintain data required by NRS.
  • Conduct program audits and quality assurance.
  • Serves as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for NRS regulated security operations.
  • Maintains knowledge of regulations to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and best practices to assist stations with regulatory and business compliance.
  • Must serve as Qualifying Agent (QA).

Basic Qualifications 

  • Five (5) years’ experience as a private patrol officer, or the equivalent thereof.
  • Minimum of 5 years (2,000 hours each year, totaling 10,000 hours) experience as a private patrol officer, or the equivalent thereof.
  • Must have knowledge of Security principles and practices.

Pre-requisites: 

  • Must be a local (in-state) resident.
  •  A valid U.S. Driver's License.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen. 
  • Ability to pass up to a 10-year background check. 
  • Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986. 
  • Must complete SIDA training if needed to obtain airport authority identification security. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

  • Excellent customer service skills.

  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications such as MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access. Must be able to self-manage from both an operational and financial viewpoint. Excellent organization and follow-up skills. Must be detail oriented. Must be performing satisfactorily in current position. Must be able to lift 70 lbs. Must complete all required Delta training with PCII, information security awareness, rules of road, and ethics.

Preferred Qualifications 

Education/Experience:  

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is desired.  
  • Law Enforcement training and or security experience required.
  • High school diploma, GED required, college degree or equivalent work experience preferred. 
  • Must be at least 18 years of age. 

Working Conditions 

Work Environment:  

  • Must be able to be alerted to moving vehicles and use radio equipment.  
  • Employees work inside the Unifi office.  Utilizes a personal computer.  May sit for long periods. 
  • Exposure to moderate noise (i.e., business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations.  

While performing the duties of this job the employee will be in a semi-private area.  Most of the day is spent performing administrative tasks and overseeing site locations.  Occasionally visits assigned sites and may be exposed to outside weather conditions such as extreme heat and cold.  The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.  

Physical Demands/Requirements:  

  • Must be able to lift / carry / push / pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces.  
  • Must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods.
  • Sense of Sound/Hearing – Must be able to communicate by radio, phone, and other devices.
  • The incumbent is regularly required to stand and walk; use hands to finger, handle, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.  The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in cramped or high places.
