Requirements and Description
Meet unaccompanied minors for inbound and outbound flight to provide escort and special services as direct by client.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/TASKS
1. Provide escort and special services for unaccompanied minors as requested.
2. Provide general information and directions to passengers
3. Meet inbound and outbound flights as requested
4. Always be aware of the departure time of the Unaccompanied Minor.
5. Never, Never, Never leave an unaccompanied Minor unattended or out of sight.
6. Always release the unaccompanied Minor to gate agent or client representative.
7. Always make sure the unaccompanied Minor's documentation is in order.
8. Always check the ID of the person claiming to be the party listed on the Minor's paperwork.
9. Complete appropriate documentation.
10. Must be familiar with all FAA/Airline/Company regulations.
11. Comply with all safety requirements to include only using equipment that you have been trained on, immediately reporting unsafe conditions and workplace injuries, wearing proper PPE, and attending required safety training.
Seasonal Role
· There will be opportunity for the possibility of staying on to work throughout the year.
· Training will take place on June 10, 2024
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledge of Ticketing systems, Computers, DGS, Safety, Security, Airport layout, FAA, Flight schedules and Station policies and procedures. MENTAL ABILITIES: Must be able to follow directions, count, calculate and read and interpret documents.

EDUCATION: High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be 18 years of age; eligible to work in US; able to pass pre-employment drug screen, FBI criminal background check; and complete SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security badge.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to work in crowded public areas of the airport under tight time constraints to service passengers. The noise level in the work environment is moderate to loud. The pace of the work varies but it often fast paced and depends on the flight schedule, flight delays, weather and passenger volume.
